Customizing motorcycles is a core topic at Thunderbike. That’s why you’ll also learn all the related topics such as the manufacture of components, metalworking and other interesting specialist areas in vehicle construction.

Many of our parts are produced by machining processes. Most of these parts are manufactured by CNC (computer controlled) machines. During an apprenticeship as a machining mechanic you will learn how to manufacture these components precisely and correctly. This includes reading drawings, making tools and operating and programming our CNC-controlled turning and milling machines.

We’ll teach you:

  • Maintenance, repair and repair of motorcycles
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting using measuring and diagnostic equipment
  • Electronics, electrical engineering, pneumatics and drive technology
  • TÜV preparations and exhaust emission tests
  • Vehicle conversions according to customer requirements

Your profile:

  • Enthusiasm for motorcycles
  • Interest in technology, electrics and electronics
  • Joy in manual work
  • Desire for independent work and teamwork

We’ll teach you:

  • Production of components
  • Reading drawings
  • Production of tools
  • Operation of CNC machines
  • Programming of CNC machines

Your profile:

  • Good spatial imagination
  • Interest in technical processes
  • Interest in working with a computer
  • Good mathematical knowledge
  • Motorcycle enthusiasm, team spirit and motivation
