Green Blaster – the Fat Boy redefined

The Milwaukee-Eight Fat Boy “Green Blaster” demonstrates how consistently an iconic cruiser can be reinterpreted in a sporty way. The Fat Boy has the ideal prerequisites for this: its massive appearance, characteristic tank, and, above all, the wide original swing arm, which offers space for uncompromising wheel and tire concepts.

More Information

To achieve this effect, significantly larger wheels were installed. The customer opted for our 21-inch spoke wheels – both front and rear.

The wheels are powder-coated in glossy black and additionally finished with an elaborate contrast cut. This makes the spoke design stand out even more and visibly gains depth.

A striking silver screw connection frames the design, perfectly complementing the cut and giving the bike a clean, technical look.
Of course, the design, production, milled parts, and TÜV certification are all provided entirely by us.

The Fat Boy comes standard with 18-inch wheels front and rear, combined with a beefy 160 front tire and 240 rear tire on Lakester cast alloy wheels. A harmonious but very solid setup.

When it comes to customization, we deliberately ask ourselves and the customer: Should we keep the dimensions the same, or should we change the character?
In this case, the answer was clear: Yes, we’re changing them.

The goal was to create a Fat Boy that looks sportier, with larger proportions, but at the same time appears lighter and more technical.

Swing arm extension

In order to integrate the 21-inch rear wheel neatly into the original Fat Boy swing arm, it is extended with two new end pieces. When you go to this effort, it goes without saying that the rear wheel should also be shown in the best light.

That’s why a pulley brake system is also used:
The brake disc is moved to the left side, giving the right side a clear view of the entire wheel design.

The pulley and brake disc echo the spoke design of the wheels and ensure a consistent, technical line.

Brakes & front setup

The design concept is also consistently continued at the front. A 340 mm brake disc in spoke design is used.
In order to combine this disc with the standard telescopic fork and OEM brake calipers, we have developed a special brake caliper adapter – technically clean, visually unobtrusive, and of course approved.

Fenders & Clean Look

The front and rear wheels are enclosed by our own steel fenders. Both are elaborately crafted in our forge.
The design is deliberately minimalist and clean so as not to detract from the bike’s design.

Our steel fender is used at the rear, which harmonizes perfectly with the front fender in terms of form.
For an uncompromising look, the turn signals and taillight are integrated directly into the rear fender, while the license plate is discreetly mounted on the side of our holder.

Black front & ergonomics

The front end is finished in deep black. The entire fork has been blackened—from the axle cover and stanchions to the telescopic fork covers and original headlight fairing. This enormous effort gives the front end an extremely cohesive and high-quality look.

This is followed by our old-style risers in combination with the Hollywood Light handlebars, which have a diameter of a full 1 1/4 inches. Our aluminum grips in a satin design, finished with toppers in a drilled design, fit comfortably in the hand.
This design motif is repeated in the air filter, which is refined with a fine laser engraving of “114 cui.”

Details that are easy to overlook

The front strip indicators are integrated almost invisibly under the fittings. Despite their discreet placement, the approved LED modules deliver extremely powerful light output.

Matching the handles, passenger footrests in a satin design complement the overall look.

Color, engine, and sound

The characteristic Fat Boy tank remains unchanged and forms the visual basis of the bike.
The color scheme is deliberately elegant:
a dark green with fine metallic flakes on the tank and fenders, combined with shiny black components and a classic tank logo.

The engine has been completely blacked out and blends perfectly into the dark, technical overall look.

The Short Shots from Jekill & Hyde provide the right sound – powerful, present, and controllable at all times.
