The theme of “Molten Force” is clear: fusion

The gray metallic paint meets red-orange and black accents, creating strong contrasts while still blending seamlessly together.

Black components, precise contrast-cut details, and the bike’s massive proportions give it its modern, powerful look.

Colors, shapes, and materials blend seamlessly together, creating a harmonious overall look – almost as if fused together.

The foundation of this Softtail Fat Boy custom bike is our massive three-piece “Big Speed” wheels – 23 inches in the front and 21 inches in the rear. The combination of a glossy black finish and a striking contrast-cut finish perfectly showcases the massive rim design and gives the bike its powerful character.

Our single-sided swingarm conversion and the shortened “Shorty Big Shot” flap exhaust system from Jekill & Hyde ensure an unobstructed view of the rear wheel, which is wrapped in a 260-series Metzeler Cruisetec tire.

The “Molten Force” also makes a clear statement up front: The massive 23-inch front wheel, covered by our custom-fit front fender, is slowed by two floating 340-mm brake discs in the matching “Big Speed” design.

When technology and design come together

The single-sided swingarm conversion also incorporates the corresponding “perimeter brake disc” on the 21-inch rim. Unlike conventional setups, this disc runs along the outer edge of the rim rather than the inner radius and is engaged by a caliper that grips from the inside. Combined with the matching “Big Speed” design pulley, this creates the ultimate custom look. At the same time, the conversion to an all-aluminum construction saves weight compared to the stock steel swingarm. The whole package is rounded out by our side-mounted license plate holder, including our Inside license plate.

A perfect match for the rear wheel – the CNC-machined pulley in the Big Speed design

Our sporty 23-inch “Big Speed” front wheel is getting a major upgrade this time around. Using our head tube kit, we’ve installed a massive 340-mm dual-disc brake in the matching “Big Speed” design. This not only creates visual symmetry but also delivers enhanced braking performance.

A harmonious blend of design and technology

One glance is all it takes – and the countless details immediately catch your eye.

To neatly close the gap between the front wheel and the frame, we’ve installed our GP-style front spoiler. In addition to its sporty look, it also protects the oil cooler.

The forward-mounted footrests, featuring an elegant “satin” finish, ensure the perfect riding position.

For the air filter, we chose a round filter in the Torque design – perfectly matched to the engine, which was powder-coated in glossy black at the customer’s request. Like all Thunderbike air filters, this system also comes with TÜV certification and combines striking aesthetics with proven technology.

The Torque Design runs consistently throughout the entire bike and can be found, among other places, on the ignition and clutch covers as well as on footrests and grips.

Our handcrafted “Steel” rear fender made of steel provides the perfect cover for the 260 rear wheel. With its precise lines, it significantly enhances the entire rear section and blends seamlessly into the powerful overall look of the “Molten Force.” The bolt-on fender is mounted directly to the original frame and features an integrated taillight as well as turn signals with E-mark certification.

The paint job by Ingo Kruse in gray-silver metallic with accents in black and red-orange gives the solid steel fender additional depth and an even stronger presence. As a result, the paint job and bodywork blend perfectly to create a powerful overall look.

Clean front. Powerful impact.

To consistently carry forward the bold design of the front end, we chose our “Atlas” handlebars in the tall 35-cm version. With a diameter of 45 mm, they not only emphasize the bike’s powerful look but also allow for completely clean cable routing. Thus, all electrical wiring for the controls and our “Stripe” LED turn signals disappears invisibly into the handlebar, just like the brake line and the hydraulic lines for the specially modified clutch actuator.

The whole setup is held in place by our Atlas Riser, developed specifically for the “Atlas” handlebars. Perfectly matched to the 45-mm diameter, the riser blends seamlessly into the bike’s solid overall front-end design.

For the rear view, we’ve equipped the bike with the extremely slim Highsider Montana Slim mirrors, which integrate seamlessly into the clean lines of the cockpit. Full control is provided by our grips in the elegant “Satin” design, which perfectly combine form and function.

For optimal support and maximum comfort, Jimmy from Spirit Leather has once again crafted a first-class seat. The combination of premium suede and smooth leather ensures a high-quality look and a comfortable ride. As a special highlight, our Thunderbike “New Customs” logo has been subtly embossed into the surface.

To ensure that the “Molten Force” not only impresses with its low, powerful lines when stationary but also offers the necessary comfort while riding, we have once again installed our Air Ride suspension at the rear of this bike. This allows the vehicle height to be perfectly adjusted – from an extremely low show-style stance when stationary to near-stock handling on the road. The result is the perfect combination of a custom look, comfort, and everyday practicality.
