New accents in the touring sector
This year’s Harley-Davidson Bike Week in Faak am See offered us excellent conditions to extensively test our new parts for the current Harley-Davidson Road Glide. Andreas took the opportunity to ride the CVO, painted in Copperhead Red, through the picturesque Carinthian mountains.
Probably the most noticeable change is the conversion to the 23” Digger front wheel. A change that suits the bike incredibly well and ensures balanced proportions.
To be able to mount the front wheel, the suspension geometry had to be changed. To do this, we developed a new triple clamp, which is currently still in the prototype stage.
Of course, we are going into even more detail. The mirrors, grips and running boards (CVO standard) can be found in the Adversary collection. For the large front wheel, there is also the matching brake disk in spoke design with a diameter of 340 mm and because we want to keep the four-piston brake caliper, we have developed a matching brake caliper adapter. This allows our brake discs to be combined with Brembo brake calipers.
What is not noticeable at first glance is the conversion to a hydraulic clutch with a new clutch fitting to match the brake side. A CNC-milled component with integrated expansion tank is used here. The innovative hydraulic conversion also includes a specially manufactured gearbox cover with integrated slave cylinder. In addition, our Atlas handlebars have been redesigned for the Road Glide Helix models, giving the cockpit a striking, masculine look. This sets new accents in the touring model range.
