Things often turn out differently... and usually in ways you wouldn't expect!

Originally, Roman’s Low Rider was supposed to have a rough, rusty look, since the base bike was already a bit beat up anyway.

So the plan was simple: Keep the existing worn-out look and, of course, do only what was technically necessary – seal the engine, get the bike running smoothly, and that’s it.

But as is so often the case in life, things took a completely different turn. First, the engine was completely disassembled. The initial assessment was sobering. From there, things took their course: With numerous OEM parts and professional support from Diddi, the engine received a top-notch overhaul – now as good as new, both visually and technically – which inevitably led to a complete change in strategy.

Now everything was taken apart! Frame, wheels, swingarm – chromed, polished, powder-coated – everything was completely overhauled or replaced outright. The result was a dragster in the style of the ’90s that was practically brand-new – perfectly tuned down to the smallest detail.
