Velaris – 40 Years Wheels Edition
The Velaris is an advanced Fat Boy with a focus on technology, design, and clean implementation. The basic shape of the model remains unchanged and is deliberately continued.
At the heart of the conversion are the Thunderbike 40th Anniversary Monoblock wheels in 23 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. Made from a solid aluminum block, they combine high stability with low weight. The elaborately designed spoke design gives the wheels an extraordinary depth: each spoke has its own contour, giving the wheel a strong visual impact even when stationary. The glossy black bi-color contrast-cut finish highlights precisely milled edges that refract light and clearly emphasize the technical design language of the wheels.

At the front, brake discs work in combination with radially mounted Brembo brake calipers. The standard fork remains unchanged and is a central design element of the Fat Boy front.
At the rear, the Thunderbike single-sided swing arm for 21-inch rims is used. It is milled from aluminum and provides a clear view of the rear wheel. The pulley in the 40th Anniversary design is matched to the wheels and complements the overall look. The single-sided swing arm construction puts the focus on the design of the rear wheel.
THE LINEAR DESIGN
The lines of the Velaris are created by selected molded parts. The narrow 23-inch steel front fender defines the front view and is complemented by design cutouts on the side struts. The GP Bug Spoiler Long closes the area between the wheel and frame and also protects the oil cooler. The integrated racing grille with laser-engraved Thunderbike logo is part of the component. A steel fender is used at the rear, designed for a 260-millimeter-wide rear tire, which continues the lines across the wheel. The original tank is retained, ensuring the bike’s typical Fat Boy character.
The narrow 23-inch front fender creates a minimalist look.
The front spoiler closes the gap between the wheel and the frame.

The solid original tank remains intact.
ATLAS HANDLEBAR
The Thunderbike Atlas handlebar with a diameter of 45 millimeters dominates the front of the Velaris. It is CNC-milled in several parts and combined with Atlas risers, which visually merge with the handlebar to form a single unit. In conjunction with the built-in hydraulic clutch, cables and lines can be routed completely inside the handlebars, creating a clean and tidy front end.

DETAILS
Attention was paid to ensuring a uniform finish for surfaces and details. Fork and axle covers ensure a completely blacked-out fork, while other components are powder-coated. The dash, engine, and primary are also black, contrasting with the milled contours of the wheels.
The Torque 2.0 cover series with the Thunderbike logo completes the setup. The air filter, ignition, and clutch covers reflect the technical design language and are coordinated with the contrast cut of the wheels. The handles and footrests have a satin finish.
For optimal performance, the Velaris is equipped with hydraulic suspension at the front and rear. When stationary, the bike sits flat and powerfully on the ground, while it can be raised to the optimal height for riding.
The paintwork is the work of Ingo Kruse and gives the Fat Boy its unmistakable charisma. It perfectly conveys the message that this bike is meant to convey. The overall look is rounded off by the Spirit Leather seat, which fits perfectly into the design and completes the high-quality character of the Velaris.
Another eye-catching feature is the Phantom Strike forward footrest system. Its recesses give it a light and technical look. The contrast-cut finish emphasizes this impression and blends perfectly into the overall look of the Velaris.
