Season kick-off for our demo bikes
The first ride of the year
Isn’t it the most fun to ride right now? The first warm rays of sunshine, the fresh air and the feeling that life is starting again – the season is officially open!
That’s exactly what we thought! So without further ado, we brought forward the end of the working day, saddled up our bikes and set off at 3 p.m. – under a bright blue sky and a pleasant 15 degrees.
Spontaneous, uncomplicated and simply perfect to ring in the new season!

Off to Holland - The favorite tour is calling
The start was at Thunderbike in Hamminkeln, as it should be. The route was clear: off across the dams and fields of the Lower Rhine towards Holland. The long, sweeping bends made it clear from the first few kilometers: today was going to be one of those tours you never forget.
But this time the old bikes stayed in the garage. The first ride was to be dedicated entirely to the new demo bikes. No screwing, no breakdowns, no back pain – just ride and enjoy.
The crew and their machines
- Andreas took the lead as road captain – naturally on a Road King, the perfect bike for the job.
- Tobi tested the Low Rider S and was completely impressed by its sporti
- Timo, who is currently working on an Evo project, picked up the Street Bob again – old love never rusts.
- Kim grabbed the Street Glide and quickly realized that boxes, panniers and a large fairing can be a lot of fun.
- Steffen piloted the Heritage and had a passenger with him: Glatzzo, our cameraman. As a mechanic, he knows exactly what a bike is good for – his conclusion: the Heritage is and remains a reliable workhorse.
- Felix, a chopper fan through and through, is impressed by the new engine and is already planning his next road trip with the Low Rider ST.
- Werner remained faithful to his Road King Twin Cam – and his broad grin in the photos speaks volumes.
Icy apple pie and warming rays of sunshine
Once we arrived in Holland, we naturally had the traditional cappuccino and apple pie ritual. But the Dutch were probably not prepared for us – the cake was still frozen! Never mind, because the sun warmed us up again, even though it was slowly getting colder.

After the break, we headed back, because as soon as the sun disappears, it gets really cold. But just as it was setting on the horizon, we were still on our bikes – a dream of a sight! We rolled back into Thunderbike just in time for nightfall – perfectly timed, just like our reliable bikes.
The crowning glory After the tour, we had a burger and a well-deserved beer at the Roadhouse. As we celebrated the first kilometers of the season, one thing was clear: this is going to be a great year!
