Breathtaking views and pure driving pleasure.

A night in Italy – Trieste.

Happy 40th! The anniversary bike rolls in.

The event is on fire! Faak am See in full swing.

DAY 1: Sunday – Arrival with a view

We arrived at the Baumgartnerhof with two trucks, a Sprinter, and 16 bikes in tow. At the top of the mountain, we first enjoyed a cool drink and a large dose of fresh mountain air.

The first highlight wasn’t long in coming: we staged our 40th Anniversary Bike in perfect light. To keep it sparkling clean, we took it directly to the photo spot in the Sprinter – after all, the cream-colored Monobock wheels only shine with their new design when there’s no dirt in the way. The shoot was a complete success – the chopper cut a fine figure.

At the end of the day, we took the chopper for a fantastic sundowner test ride. Kim was there on the Shovelhead Glamor and Tobi with his Evo chopper.

Brutally good! The first shoot is in the can—we can’t get enough of it.

DAY 2: Monday – 200 km of pure Alpine joy

Since the bikes had already been unloaded the evening before, we started the day feeling very relaxed. Our route took us over 200 kilometers from the Baumgartnerhof via Klagenfurt to the Gurktal Alps and back via Spittal an der Drau – a perfect circuit for the heart and soul.

The first surprise awaited us at the very first fuel stop: we met a good customer with his brand-new Crossout. Of course, there was time for a quick chat.

The absolute highlight of the day was the legendary Nockalmstraße. This route is a dream for every biker – endless curves, lush green alpine pastures, dense forests and majestic peaks behind them. The landscape here looks almost like a painting, as if every curve were a postcard. Everything went like clockwork, no breakdowns, just pure riding pleasure.

At the top of the Glockenhütte, a real treat awaited us: hot soup and fluffy Kaiserschmarrn. The hut was full of bikers from all over Europe who, like us, were taking a break, talking about bikes and enjoying the fantastic view. A moment that shows why touring in the Alps is incomparable.

The bikes are ready—let’s start the first tour.

Strong together: 16 Thunderbikers, one passion, one goal.

Pure anticipation! We are standing in front of the Nockalm Road.

Andreas rocks the long tours on the Low Rider Onyx.

A break is a must – Werner and his “Verlängerter” at their best.

Full house at the Glockenhütte.

Nature simply tastes better on two wheels.

In the evening, Andreas saddled up his new chopper once again.

The last rays of sunshine are simply unbeatable!

26 inches of pure elegance.

Andreas, Tobi, Timo, and Kim on tour – a lap around Lake Faaker See.

Original quote: “It’s unbelievable how smoothly the bike runs.

The view of Trieste – simply fantastic.

Wednesday

Italy calls

With the sun shining on our backs, we traveled through Slovenia to Trieste. Halfway there, we stopped for ice cream to recharge our batteries. Once we arrived in Italy, we were greeted by an incredible view of the Mediterranean Sea.

Of course, we couldn’t resist – we jumped right into the water! In the evening, we ended the day in style with pizza and gelato.

Gelato stop! It’s just part of the experience.

Waiting for the co-pilot: Tobi & Glatzzo – our photo heroes of the year. Thank you for your dedication!

Thursday

A stylish journey home

A relaxed return trip with plenty of sunshine on your face and even more memories in your luggage.

Slovenia has two compelling attractions: breathtaking nature and delicious food.

Friday – Showtime in Villach

Before things got serious, we treated ourselves to a special highlight: a photo shoot with the rare 1937 Knucklehead Dolphine. We took it across the border to Slovenia – a little adventure in itself. We drove to several spots, but Michael had his usual good instincts and found the perfect location.

The route over the Wurzen Pass was a real challenge for the Knucklehead. With just under 40 hp, it doesn’t exactly have the power reserves of modern bikes, but with calm, patience, and a lot of passion, Andreas mastered the switchbacks. Once we reached our destination, we were able to park right next to a wild river, slightly elevated, with the Alps in the background – a sight that took our breath away. An absolute dream and a backdrop that couldn’t have been better.

In the afternoon, things got serious: the first big Harley-Davidson bike show in Villach was about to begin. The entire old town was transformed into a single stage – the streets were full of bikes, the squares were full of visitors, and the atmosphere was cool. Our machines lined up between narrow alleys, old facades, and live music and presented themselves to the amazed visitors.

The presentation was a complete success and the atmosphere was hard to beat. And then the moment came: with our 40-year-old bike, we won the trophy in the radical class!

From show to show: Clubstyle dominates and really delivers.

The old town is alive – enthusiasm for custom bikes everywhere.

This is what joy looks like – Andreas celebrates his triumph.

Saturday – Arneitz Bike Show

Of course, we also took part in the legendary Arneitz Bike Show on Saturday with our 40th Anniversary Bike. Even the journey there was an experience in itself – on the way there, it was almost impossible to find a parking space, so crowded was the area around the venue. Engines were roaring everywhere, and the air was literally vibrating with sound and excitement. The weather couldn’t have been better!

We lined up our 40th Anniversary Bike in the long row of extraordinary machines and waited eagerly while the jury worked its way through the multitude of custom bikes, one by one.

While we waited, we took the opportunity to stroll around the grounds. We met many old acquaintances and got into conversation with other bike show participants – a lively exchange about conversions, ideas and, of course, our love of Harley-Davidson and customizing.

And then finally, the big moment: Best of Show! When our name was called, the joy was immense. A proud moment for our entire team.

Bikeshow

Best of Show! Our 40th Anniversary Bike sweeps the board.

Raini from Bobber Garage shines with his choppers. Congratulations!

Another winner in the Radical Class – congratulations.

Arneitz

After a week full of unforgettable tours, exciting shows, and countless impressions, it was time to say goodbye to Lake Faaker See on Sunday.

Every year, it’s a highlight to experience this great week with our colleagues and friends. Moments like these bring us together – and that’s what makes it so special.

We can’t wait to see you at European Bike Week 2026!
