55,000 PEOPLE ATTENDED HARLEY-DAVIDSON DAYS IN HAMBURG, GERMANY.
FRANKFURT (02.07.2024) – From June 28 to 30, Hamburg was transformed into a party hub, attracting numerous V-Twin enthusiasts to the far north of Germany. Around 55,000 visitors flocked to the 40,000 square metre site at the Grossmarkthallen over the three days of the event, where the organizers offered a varied programme.
Of course, Motorcycles are also ridden – both on their own and on the tours guided by Harley-Davidson Owners Group, which led through the Lüneburg Heath and the Alte Land, among other places. In addition, the latest H-D models were not only available to touch – they also offered the opportunity to test them extensively.
Off-road pro Ralf Wiesenfeller revealed numerous tricks and tips to visitors – for example, how to get a fallen bike upright again – and right next door, people without a driving license could get a first impression of riding a Harley-Davidson on the authentic Jumpstart driving simulator. On the two stages, 19 hot bands rocked out, because music is an inseparable part of the Harley lifestyle.
The headliners on the Harley Stage were the celebrated band H-Blockx, who had already rocked our Jokerfest in 2023. Also on the big stage were Jimmy Cornett and the Deadmen, who we also celebrated this year at the kick-off party in April at our Roadhouse. Motörizer and Back:n:Black were also there, and their sound also really got your legs moving. Rock Antenne Hamburg made sure that all the highlights could be seen on the big screen every day.
Custombike Show powered by Metzeler
At the Custombike Show powered by Metzeler, there was a separate category for Softail models with Evolution engines. The popular series celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2024. In addition to customers, numerous dealers also brought along their impressive classics. Among the winners of the show, which was co-organized by H.O.G. and awarded cash and non-cash prizes, was Sandor K. from northern Germany, who won the Best of Show title, worth €1,000, with his machine.
Of course, we particularly noticed Thorsten’s cool breakout conversion.
He has already won a prize at our Ride in Bike Show at the Jokerfest.
He built this high-end Custombike with Thunderbike parts on his own and secured himself a very special place with us: Best of Show.
The smell of barbecued food wafted into the guests’ noses, and not just from the numerous caterers’ stands. The second Hamburg State Barbecue Championships and the barbecue for the Block House Cup took place on the new BBQ court. The event area where the Hamburg Tattoo Days took place was also new. Visitors were able to get inspiration for their body art and get a tattoo on the spot. The two professionals Maciej DOP Bielicki and Chris Lietsch provided an extra dose of thrills with their shows. The numerous stands and tents of the authorized dealers and retailers along Main Street, where bikes and bikers strolled day and night, invited visitors to relax and store.

The grand finale
On Sunday, the visitors bid farewell to their hosts with a large H.O.G. motorcycle parade. A reunion in the beautiful Hanseatic city is certain – next year from June 27 to 29 at the Hamburg Harley Days 2025.
