Jokerfest 2025 – Sun, bikes, and rock ‘n’ roll
A day full of highlights
What a day! Our Jokerfest kicked off right on time at 10:00 a.m. – and with it began a day full of excitement, passion for custom bikes, and rousing music. The sun was beating down on our site at over 30 degrees Celsius, but that didn’t stop anyone from coming to enjoy the festivities.
Early on, the grounds filled with countless visitors, friends, bikers, and curious onlookers from across the region and beyond. International guests were in attendance, as were many of our loyal customers and long-time companions.

A real highlight of the day was undoubtedly our bike show – a spectacular display for all custom bike enthusiasts.
It was clear from the very first lap that Chicano bikes were clearly ahead of the pack this year. With their long fishtail exhausts and glittering paintwork, they attracted everyone’s attention. Attention to detail, style, and scene awareness – everything was just right.
The old school section was somewhat underrepresented this time around, but that was by no means a negative. Instead, many modern conversions showcased everything that is possible in the custom scene today – from technically sophisticated to visually radical.
The atmosphere? Relaxed, friendly, and full of mutual respect. Mechanics exchanged ideas, we and the visitors took photos enthusiastically, and you could feel that this was a scene where people who were passionate about bikes, sharing ideas, and life on two wheels came together.

Thunderbike apprentice project – The Ironhead is ready for the beach
One of the proudest moments of Jokerfest: the presentation of our trainee project on stage. Three of our talented young employees presented their self-built bike – a Harley-Davidson Ironhead, which they designed and assembled over several weeks. The project was completed just in time for Jokerfest – and the applause on stage spoke volumes.
The result is a genuine beach racer, visually and technically inspired by the legendary beach races of the 1930s. Minimalist, pure, with a low seat position and classic style – a bike that breathes history and is still ready for new adventures.
With a lot of dedication and attention to detail, the guys have made a real statement – for craftsmanship, creativity, and the future of the custom scene.
Andreas’ 37 Knucklehead
Amidst all the shows, Chicano bikes, and modern conversions, it was almost a silent star: Andreas’ Knucklehead.
A motorcycle that tells a story—with every bolt and every weld.
Andreas has rebuilt the bike over the past few months with a lot of love, passion, and dedication. One thing was particularly important to him:
the Knucklehead had to be rebuilt as close to the original as possible – and he has succeeded impressively. No unnecessary frills, no modern gadgets – just pure authenticity, coupled with technical precision and genuine respect for the history of this machine.
A real piece of motorcycle culture – and a highlight for anyone who appreciates true Harley heritage.
Don Performance x Thunderbike – CVO Road Glide meets custom power
Don Performance, a household name in the scene for years for precisely tuned software mappings, has fulfilled his very own custom dream with us. We transformed his CVO Road Glide into a true one-of-a-kind with high-quality components.
The bike now rolls on a powerful 21-inch digger wheel, which, in combination with our radially bolted brake discs, ensures stability and style. The riser handlebar combination from our Club series brings the perfect line to the cockpit and gives the machine additional character.
Of course, there’s even more in the details – everything is precisely coordinated, as you would expect from Don Performance and Thunderbike.

Outing with BossHoss
After the day’s program, things got really cool: Together with some Thunderbikers and three members of The BossHoss, we went on a little outing through the region. The rain that had been forecast? It didn’t show up at all – instead, we had perfect biking weather and beaming faces. Of course, we provided suitable bikes for Sascha (lead singer), Anska (drummer), and Tobias (percussion), and the guys didn’t miss the opportunity. An hour of pure freedom on two wheels and a relaxed atmosphere.
What many people don’t know is that this ride wasn’t a coincidence, but part of a long-standing friendship. Thunderbike and BossHoss are connected by more than just their shared American style – we built a bike for Sascha back in 2014: the legendary “Hoss Power” Shovelhead. Since then, we’ve gone on rides together whenever The BossHoss has had a concert with us or nearby.
After the ride, we enjoyed a cold beer at the workshop, relaxed conversation, and lots of good vibes. It was a fitting end to a memorable day – before the evening continued on stage…

Concert evening – covers, classics, and country rock
40 years of Thunderbike – that called for a celebration
And how! The concert evening of our Jokerfest turned into a real birthday party that will be remembered for a long time.
The cover band Daire Struts got things off to a perfect start. They fired up the audience with rock classics such as “Walk of Life,” “Sultans of Swing,” and “Money for Nothing.”
After that, it was clear: now comes the highlight. BossHoss live on stage – full throttle, lots of energy, and a show that exceeded all expectations. As part of their current “Back to the Boots” club tour, they stopped by to see us – and proved that they can turn any stage into a madhouse.
Of course, the legendary groupie girls couldn’t be missing, and they were quickly brought on stage by the band – and couldn’t wait to be part of the show.
And when Alec finally started stage diving, there was no holding back: the crowd went wild, the atmosphere was electric.
Our concert evening was more than just music—it was the official 40th anniversary party for Thunderbike, and it was a resounding success. Two powerful bands, perfect weather, a full house, and an audience that celebrated with us from the first minute to the last.
It was an evening we won’t forget anytime soon.
