Rumble & Thunder 2025

Classic Car & Bike Show

Art, sunshine, and custom vibes – a day full of color and good vibes

What an incredible event! We enjoyed an unforgettable day with you in glorious sunshine and temperatures of 29 degrees. The first classic cars began rolling onto the site at 11 a.m., and it was immediately clear that this was going to be huge! Bikes, US cars, and lots of cool people made Rumble & Thunder a real highlight.

To celebrate the day, we took a group of classic cars and motorcycles on a ride together. From rusty choppers to shiny V8s, there was something for everyone. It was the perfect opportunity to share our passion and celebrate the day on two wheels.

The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly throughout. The venue was already well filled in the morning, and then the next visitors arrived straight away, so there was a lively atmosphere all day long. No wonder we couldn’t even let all the vehicles into the yard at one point – the rush was so great!

The variety of US cars was particularly impressive: everything from rusty patina treasures to freshly painted showstoppers was on display. Ford Mustangs, Chevy Impalas, Dodge Chargers, Pontiac GTOs, C10 pickups, and elaborately restored Cadillacs – what a feast for the eyes! It’s not every day you see such gems gathered in one place.

Also on display were a beautifully patinated COE (cab over engine), several extremely channeled old-school hot rods, a sixties panel truck with air ride, a Firebird coupe, several full-size customs, a Chevy El Camino, and a rare ’49 Pontiac Silverstreak convertible. It was a wild mix of rarity, style, and character – each vehicle with its own history and personality.

Low as hell, loud as sin – extreme hot rods were naturally also at the start

Cool guy, cool Chicano – Rumble and Thunder stands for color and good vibes.

First on the lot and making a statement: a US car in Hot Wheels style—it doesn’t get any more show car than this.

From V-Twin fans to US car lovers, scene experts and families with kids – everyone was there.

There was also plenty to see on two wheels: from classic choppers to elaborately converted bikes, there was something for everyone. Families with children, scene experts, and fans of well-maintained V-Twins all celebrated the day together.

Creativity, craftsmanship & scene awareness

A huge thank you goes out to all our amazing exhibitors, artists, and creators—you made this year’s Rumble & Thunder Artist Alley a real experience once again! Many familiar faces that we look forward to seeing every year were there, as well as some exciting new people.

There was so much to discover: live tattoos, pinstriping, custom parts, fashion, accessories, and handmade one-of-a-kind pieces with soul and character. Demon’s Speedshop was there, bringing customs, patina, and plenty of rock ‘n’ roll to the streets.

Belgian artist Erwin Dilissen fascinated visitors with his realistic and caricatured drawings of bikes and cars, which he brought to life on paper with great charm right there on the spot. Flo from Düsseldorf brought a concentrated dose of pop culture to T-shirts with his label Ultra Trash – inspired by 60s to 80s trash and all hand-printed using screen printing.

Hellmade Corsets from the Lower Rhine region showcased handmade corsets in sizes ranging from 2XS to 10XL, while Birte McNeely conjured up real hourglass effects from cotton. At Rebate Upcycling, Ralf transformed old skateboards into new works of art, from knives to key rings, all built with great dedication. Markus from Waffle Style brought VANS classics as well as rare sneaker treasures from the 70s to the 90s to Hamminkeln.

Tattoo artist Andi, alias Hang Loose Tattoo from Dinslaken, was also there again, offering spontaneous “wanna-do” tattoos. Uzey from Uzet Tattoo also showed his creativity and attention to detail with his airbrush and pinstriping work – the artist from Hamm has long been a member of the R&T crew. Marc Siekmann from Murdermurals in Mülheim impressed with his detailed airbrush artwork on tanks, helmets, and more.

Tim Schaefer, alias RevierLiebe, has been active in Ruhrpott and custom culture for over 30 years – as an artist, tattoo artist, and author. Carlo Coletti celebrated his debut this year with his finely engraved motorcycle parts – from tattoo to engraving, all finely crafted by hand. Anyone who wanted to get inked on the spur of the moment was in good hands with Benni Radtke from Düsseldorf.

Our long-time companion Jan Meininghaus not only provided the brilliant artwork for our event, but also presented his versatile art directly on site. Stefan Knaup traveled from Hesse especially for the event, as he does every year, to style hair and beards – always with scissors, charm, and good humor.

Marcel Miller from Miller Kustom Upholstery was also there again with his iconic T1 bus and everything an upholsterer could desire. The “2-stroke guys” Frida & Carlo from Bottrop were also back with their wildly converted metal scooters and lots of fun in tow.

Chiko’s Pinstriping impressed with the finest line art and new paint ideas – he brings new works with him every year. Another highlight was The Barn Ink Co.: Markus tattoos directly onto leather with a needle – from gloves to belts to bags, each piece is unique.

Last but not least, Juppel’s Kustom Carpets from Dorsten celebrated its premiere with us: Jan brings handmade carpets with custom motifs – from classic lettering to detailed engine illustrations.

This concentrated creativity not only made our event more colorful, but also more personal – thank you to everyone who was there!

And, of course, the Roadhouse was back in full swing: our popular event burger (also available in a vegetarian version), cold drinks, delicious grilled food, and creamy soft ice cream provided the perfect culinary accompaniment.
If you want to take a piece of the event home with you, the exclusive event shirt will soon be available in our online shop. And as always, there were free posters and stickers – because we love sharing memories.
We would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who was there – you made Rumble & Thunder what it was: a colorful, loud, and heartfelt celebration of the scene.

A look behind the scenes – Thunderbike from all angles

There was also plenty to discover away from the event site! Our showroom was open and full of highlights – from the latest custom bikes and a large selection of used bikes to new fashion for you.

Particularly popular: the look behind the scenes. Our workshops and production facilities were open, and anyone who had questions could talk directly to our employees about the individual production steps. From raw materials to the finished bike: here, expertise was made tangible.

And as a special extra, we exhibited some of our own classic bikes – real gems with a history.
