We recently had the pleasure of welcoming MontanaBlack, better known as Monte, to Thunderbike. Millions of people regularly follow his streams, videos, and projects. With his down-to-earth demeanor, his enormous reach, and numerous entrepreneurial ventures, he is now one of the most influential figures in the German-speaking creator scene.
A large part of his community consists of young viewers who have been following his content for years. Among them are many motorcycle and Harley-Davidson fans. Even leading up to Monte’s visit to Thunderbike, we noticed that his interest in Harley-Davidson and custom bikes generates a lot of interest within his community, and some even first became aware of Harley-Davidson through his social media channels.
The visit to Hamminkeln was far more than just a look behind the scenes. In addition to exciting insights into our production, the showroom, and the workshop, it also marked the start of a joint project.
Visiting Thunderbike
During his visit, Monte took the time to get a behind-the-scenes look at Thunderbike. Together, we toured our showroom, the production area, and, of course, the workshop.
During his tour, he was able to experience firsthand how ideas and drawings are transformed into finished components. From the development of our own parts through manufacturing to complete motorcycle conversions, he gained a comprehensive insight into our team’s daily work. Particularly exciting: some of the parts whose creation he was able to follow during his visit will later be used on his own motorcycle.
Things got especially interesting where standard Harley-Davidson models are transformed into truly one-of-a-kind creations. It quickly became clear that Monte not only has a passion for motorcycles but also a keen eye for detail, design, and high-quality engineering.
More than just gaming
Anyone who follows MontanaBlack quickly realizes that there is much more to this successful streamer than just livestreams and reaction videos. Marcel Eris – Monte’s real name – has evolved in recent years from a gaming creator into one of the most recognizable figures in the German media landscape.
He has chronicled his story in the books “From Junkie to YouTuber” and “From YouTuber to Millionaire”. In them, he describes his journey from a difficult childhood to becoming one of Europe’s most successful content creators. Today, he reaches millions of people through his channels and has also established himself as an entrepreneur with projects like the energy drink Gönrgy.
But anyone who knows Monte also knows: His passion doesn’t end at the screen.

Monte’s interest in motorcycles goes back much further than many might think. As he himself explains, his passion was sparked during his childhood. His father regularly took him out on a trike, laying the foundation early on for his fascination with motorized two-wheelers.
This enthusiasm received another boost a few years later thanks to the cult series Sons of Anarchy. The mix of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, freedom, camaraderie, and the quintessential American biker lifestyle left a lasting impression on him and sparked his interest in the Harley world.
Even though most people know him today primarily from the streaming scene, vehicles consistently play a role in his content. In addition to various sports cars and vehicle projects, he has also had connections to the automotive and tuning scene in recent years – including through joint projects with JP Performance, who has also been our guest.
He has also had a connection with Harley-Davidson Hamburg: a specially customized Sportster S in the brand’s eye-catching livery was created for Gönrgy.
The Next Chapter: A Harley-Davidson from Thunderbike
But the visit was just the beginning. Together with Monte, we’re already working on a very special project: his own Harley-Davidson is set to be customized at Thunderbike.

One thing is already certain: The bike will bear the owner’s personal touch while also embodying what Thunderbike has stood for for decades – custom motorcycles with character.
For us, it’s always special when people from other scenes find their way into the Harley-Davidson world. And that’s exactly what makes projects like this so interesting. Different experiences, new ideas, and a shared passion for extraordinary vehicles often result in the most exciting bikes.
