Blacked-out finishes set apart the Nightster Special with a menacing attitude straight from the factory. Vintage styling hints at decades of Sportster® history, while a load-bearing engine and updated chassis design provide radically new performance and ease of handling.

Blacked-Out Revolution® Max 975T Engine
High-revving, liquid-cooled V-twin power, completely blacked-out for a subtly aggressive look with contrasting matte and gloss finishes.

Vintage Styling
Flat line from the bottom of the gas tank through to the rear fender struts, with iconic peanut-shaped cover featuring a throwback ’70s tank graphic.

Two-Up Riding
Bring someone along for the ride with the standard passenger pillion pad and footpegs, or easily remove them for a stripped-down solo look.

Fairing + LED Lights

High-performance downdraft intake is made possible by moving the gas tank beneath the seat, while the intake and air cover sit above the Revolution® Max 975T engine.

Rider Safety Enhancements

Anti-lock Brake System (ABS)

Included: ABS is designed to prevent the wheels from locking under braking and helps the rider maintain control when braking in a straight-line, urgent situation.

Traction Control System (TCS)

Included: The TCS is designed to keep the rear wheel from “spinning out” when the motorcycle is accelerating in a straight line and enhances rider confidence.

Drag-torque Slip Control System (DSCS)

Included: DSCS is designed to reduce excessive rear-wheel slip and help prevent rear-wheel lock under powertrain-induced deceleration, which typically occurs when the rider makes an abrupt downshift gear change or quickly reduces the throttle while on wet or slippery road surfaces.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

Included: TPMS alerts the rider through the information display to low or high tire air pressure. Maintaining proper tire air pressure is important both for vehicle performance and tire life.
