Things are happening in Hamminkeln: Since April, we have been digging and building. At our location, new buildings are being constructed for the workshops, logistics and administration. Production is also being expanded and our bikes will be presented in a bigger and modern showroom in the future.

A lot has happened in the more than 35 years of our existence.
Many of you have accompanied us through the years and seen us grow from a small moped shop to a Harley-Davidson authorized dealer and finally to an internationally successful company. We produce our own parts for the conversion of motorcycles in Hamminkeln and meanwhile deliver them worldwide. In addition, we offer tens of thousands of original Harley-Davidson and aftermarket items through our online store. Not to be underestimated is also the space required by our service, our new vehicles and our custom bikes.
So our store is bursting at the seams. Long before the pandemic, we planned the expansion of the location and in April of this year we were finally able to start.
By the end of the year we want to have all the rooms occupied, all the shelves filled and a normal flow again.
At the beginning of the next season we will then invite you to the kick-off!
Unfortunately, we have to live with some restrictions during the transition period. First of all, the access and exit roads as well as the parking situation will change. Please pay attention to our signs and our news on the digital channels!

These are our plans
The Roudhouse will remain as we built it 10 years ago.
In our other existing buildings we get a more modern interior in the administration area and an extension of the production hall for our machinery. Warehouse and dispatch move to one of the new buildings on Güterstraße. Next to it, the new workshop finds its place. Part of the administration moves into another building directly in front of the street.
The centerpiece will be our new showroom, where we want to offer you a modern shopping experience. Our bikes will get more space and will be better presented and also the boutique will be able to show a lot more items.
The gravel lot across the street (by the rail line) will be paved as a parking lot for our customers.
Remodeling and new construction will be implemented by companies from the region and on the roofs we produce about 70% of our own electricity. The ideas for the conversion were developed by the team – as is usual at Thunderbike. Our own people are in charge of the entire construction site, above all, of course, Andreas Bergerforth, who is in charge of the “Refresh” project himself.
