The Harley-Davidson Sportster range has been in production since 1957 and is marked with the product code “XL”. The K model from which the Sportster was developed was the first Harley-produced bike with hydraulic shock absorbers on both wheels. In 2007, the XL1200 Nightster was introduced, followed by the XR1200 in 2008, the Forty-Eight in 2010, the Seventy-Two in 2012, and the Roadster in 2016. Sportster models have always provided a good basis for customization – see for yourself!
