The term Softail refers to bikes made in the rear with hidden shock absorbers to reduce shocks. The Softail frame is designed to resemble the star frame of yesteryear, yet offers the comfort of suspension. The model family has been labeled with the product code “FXST” since the start of production in 1984 and has been expanded with time and many options. Since 2018, the Twin Cam engine is being replaced on new models with the Milwaukee-Eight engine. With us the Softail model series is a most popular conversion base, which can be seen! Numerous conversion examples can be found in this category.
