Surface Finishing

The design is crucial for a Custompart but only the perfect surface completes it. That’s why we are working intensively on all sorts of surfaces. No matter what finish a Thunderbike product should end up in, whether chrome, anodized, powder or lacquer, matt or glossy, rough or smooth – it always requires a meticulous preparation. Right here lies the key to the perfect surface: this is pure craft, because too many different shapes and too small series exclude automation in most cases. With a lot of feeling and patience it is sanded, blasted and polished. The most important thing is not to change the shape, because in addition to manual skills, above all a lot of experience is required.
