Saison Opening 2014!
Actually, the season has not really stopped, but the official starting signal we delivered on Saturday with thousands of visitors at the Kick-Off Festival 2014.
One of the highlights of the day was the raffle of the fundraiser motorcycle, launched by Arnd Dickel and energetically supported by Harley Davidson, Thunderbike and other companies. The donation proceeds of € 51,000 went to the DRK Children’s Hospital in Siegen.
The grand prize, a brand new converted Sportster 72 worth € 17,000, went to a woman (Carmen Schulze). The winner of the awards was national player and football world champion Olaf Thon. He too has rediscovered his enthusiasm for motorcycles after this successful day.
Another highlight of the day was clearly the custom bike for Sascha Vollmer, better known as “HOSS POWER” by the band “The Boss Hoss”. The Power Bike was close to touching and was next to the film premiere “Backstage @ Berlin” the eye-catcher of the day.
The night was also made a day. This was provided by the rock band F.U.C.K, who really got carried away at the aftershow party.
