West Coast style
The latest addition to the Icons Collection, the 2022 Low Rider El Diablo is a modern take on the iconic 1983 Harley-Davidson FXRT Sport Glide and, by extension, the custom movement it sparked. The Low Rider El Diablo was born out of the spirit of rebellion and craftsmanship that defined West Coast style in the ’80s – a tribute to the era that established the “Tall Boy” style of motorcycle as a piece of America on two wheels.
Today’s Low Rider El Diablo embodies the spirit of Southern California’s counterculture in the ’80s in a modern package.
With a frame-mounted fairing reminiscent of the classic FXRT Sport Glide fairing favored by West Coast customizers, the Low Rider El Diablo offers an aggressive, performance-oriented stance with raised rear suspension, high handlebars and compact removable saddlebags.
With the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-twin engine, tuned intake system with breather and high-flow exhaust, you can feel the power boost with every twist of the throttle.
The carefully crafted custom paint job starts with a base of El Diablo Bright Red and a second pass of Bright Red Sunglo, followed by pinstripes and layers of El Diablo Dark Red and Dark Red Pearl that appear to fade around the panel molds to create depth.
The final touch on this bike is the Rockford Fosgate audio system, which fits ideally into the Low Rider El Diablo’s fairing. The powerful, intelligent amplifier with digital signal processing (DSP) was designed specifically for use in a motorcycle environment. It connects to a mobile device via Bluetooth to play stored or streamed audio through the integrated two-way speakers.
The Icons Collections
An exceptional line of Harley-Davidson motorcycles inspired by the most recognizable and sought-after models. Each Icon motorcycle in the collection celebrates our signature colors and designs and combines them with the latest technology.
All models in this series are limited edition motorcycles that will be produced only once. Each model year, a new Icons Collection model is released (max. two models per year).
The production of each model is enough to meet the allocation of about one per dealer worldwide.
