“Terminator” Arnold Schwarzenegger pursued it on his adversaries and thousands of customers around the world fell into their lush proportions. With a unique “Heavy Duty Style” the Fat Boy took the hearts of motorcycle fans by storm and coined as a prototype a new vehicle class, which from then on was called “Cruiser”. Their character has often been copied, but never achieved: since 1990, when the first Fat Boy models rolled out of the American factory, the bike is as elegant as it is bulky. Much has changed, however, the technology: For 2018 Harley-Davidson presents the now third generation of this impressive machine – 16 kg lighter, with a new engine, new frame, new suspension components and in a style that all the cardinal virtues of the Fat Boy stand out even more clearly leaves.
