What kind of game was Superbowl LVII?
It had everything – the longest field goal in Super Bowl history, strong defenses by Niners and Chiefs, kicked extra points, unfortunate injuries, Travis Kielce snapping Andy Reid again and almost knocking him over – you name it.
The momentum was on the Niners’ side for a long time and Mahomes didn’t perform as well as usual until the Chiefs got more and more into the game offensively in the final quarter.
Then the Chiefs tie the game at 19-19, Mahomes kneels down with 3 seconds on the clock and the Super Bowl goes into overtime! And although the Niners took a 22-19 lead with a field goal after a seven-and-a-half minute drive in overtime, Mahomes – again with just 3 seconds left on the clock – manages to serve it up to Mecole Hardman, who carries the ball into the end zone. TOUCHDOWN!
The Chiefs win 25:22 and are back-to-back champions in the longest Superbowl in history!
The atmosphere in the Roadhouse was also boiling and we say thank you for celebrating this great sport and this great event with us!
We’ll see you again at the latest for Superbowl LIX on the night of February 9-10, 2025, when it’s Caesars Stadium and the Thunderbike Roadhouse in New Orleans:
🏈IT’S GAMEDAY, BABY!!!🏈
