After more than 20 years with Harley-Davidson, Christian Arnezeder will leave the company at the end of this month. It has never been boring, because after he originally managed the German speaking DACH area (Germany, Austria & Switzerland), he also became head of the Benelux area in 2017 and since September 2019 he also took care of the Scandinavian countries Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
“I would like to inform you that I am leaving Harley-Davidson after more than 20 years with the company. It is time for me to retire and start a new way of doing things. I joined the company in 1999 as Managing Director of Harley-Davidson GmbH. In my last position as Managing Director for Central Europe, my area of responsibility covered a total of ten European markets. I would like to thank you for your many years of support for Harley-Davidson and ask you to continue to contact our marketing teams with confidence if you have any requests or questions,” he is quoted in the 1000PS blog.
Christian has accompanied us throughout our time as a Harley-Davidson dealer and has helped shape the rise of our cult brand in Europe. Also the change to social media & online marketing, as well as many exciting years at European Harley events like the European Bike Week in his home country Austria were just some of the daily challenges.
Martin Mulder, who previously worked as Market Operations Manager for the Benelux countries, is stepping in as Interim Director. We wish Christian all the best and say thanks for the last 20 years.
