Naked Slim

The Softail called “Naked Slim” has nothing to do with the original anymore. At request of the customer, we built the bike according to the motto “little can do a lot, especially cool”. Originally the bike had front and rear 16 inches, now it presents itself slimmer on 17 inch wheels. The machine shows a lot of its tires, also the specially made rear fender with the 200mm tire is a very special eye-catcher. Actually, a missing front fender is part of the basic definition of a bobber, since the same fender used to be a rear fender. But because we are not in dry California and the bike is anything but to become a trailer queen, we have opted for our discreet Recall fender to provide clear view in rain showers. The classic bobber look is taken by further parts such as our swinging caliper or the Cole Foster tank. In order to fix our 66cm narrow dragbar and make the speedometer visually disappear, we took a Motogadget handlebar clamp, which perfectly integrates the tiny Motoscope Mini Tacho.

We exchanged the standard FL fork for an open fork with custom bridge. Lowering in the telescopic fork and in the chassis of course could not be missing. All in all, this package gives the rather reserved flair of the series bike an extra dose of sporty coolness. The 110 cui Screaming Eagle engine fitted as standard in Softail Slim S models is supplied with fresh air by the Harley-Davidson Elite Performance Filter. Giving the throttle or cruising comfortably is equally possible with this engine. In order to bring the power as stylishly as possible to the rear wheel, we have placed on a Primary belt system of Performance Machine, which makes the name “Naked” again all honor. The sound of the Vance & Hines Short Shots Staggered is a real screamer, which can only be bridged by Quiet Baffles. The advanced rear set Base Rubber and the matching grips are also from our production. In keeping with this, the owner of our latest slim finish has opted for toppers and ignition covers from our Drilled collection. We look forward seeing this gray shark on the streets do its mischief.
