Osmo's first big bike
We’ve done it again. We’ve added another Sport Glide to our lineup, this time with artistic aspirations. In the scene the Sport Glide is treated as a rather underrated Harley. The company presents it as a cruiser, with its panniers it could be a tourer, and with its upside-down fork it is actually a sports bike.
Even though hardly anyone talks about it, it still goes down well. We can make it even better. Take a look at our Sport Glide “De Luxe” and you’ll see how we’ve given it a lot more pizzazz.
The reason for this was the Finnish band Sunrise Avenue. We had promised the musicians two custom bikes in 2022. Corona-related delivery bottlenecks had delayed the project, but this season the time was right.
It was to be a bike for an artist, for the keyboarder Osmo. So we set the bar a bit higher and brought painter Ingo Kruse back on board. With his decorative stripes in the form of suggested sea shells, he made the line even sleeker.
Our job was the hardware. Spoke wheels remain a must, with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear, up a size from the standard 18 and 16. The ‘Hollywood Light’ handlebars give the bike an elegant swing and, of course, a more comfortable posture.

The small front fairing remains because it is the aesthetic icing on the cake of the Sport Glide. You can argue about its significance, but this is the bike for an artist who can’t be bothered with the question of meaning. In fact, “Osmo’s Ride” was the keyboarder’s first big bike. His experience of motorcycling up to that point had been a few metres on a moped given to him for his twelfth birthday. The ride ended immediately at a tree. That wasn’t going to happen with our Sport Glide.
Their practical use is questionable. But the baby fairing stays on!

Osmo's Ride Out
