Sharped dressed Sportster S

 

Ducked line, masculine front, racing stripes – no question, with this sharp device it goes to the front!

With this conversion of a Sportster S with Revolution Max 1250 T engine, we present our brand new parts and thus many ideas on how to give the production model the decisive spin. As you are used to from us – made in best Thunderbike quality with the knowledge we have to offer as motorcyclists, designers and producers of high quality parts. As with our other custom bikes, we make here with specific measures the motorcycle even better: triple clamp, handlebars, rear, side license plate, cover and much more can be found in the Thunderbike Sportster S Onlineshop. Everything made in Germany – from the idea to the finished component.

“It’s really fun to ride this thing!”
Talking to sales consultant Julian, we can hear Andreas’ enthusiasm for Harley’s new performance bike. “The extreme torque comes out of the basement awesome, the geometry is well tuned, the bike is really light on its feet.” The Thunderbike boss praises the whole concept: “The Sportster comes in like we used to do with the Forty-Eight. Everything down, everything a little more compact. A power muscle bike like the V-Rod was last, only more consistent. The look is typical Harley, I personally really like that.”

The change on the front end is particularly noticeable. “We brought everything closer together. It looks much more masculine now.” Contributing to this new look is the flyscreen, turn signals on the fork, mirrors moved down and handlebars lowered by means of new triple clamps with redesigned grips. Triple clamps and handlebars are still undergoing TÜV approval and will be offered soon.

The design: sporty and noble at the same time
Our triple clamps (in TÜV approval) have a sporty superbike look at the same time through the recesses, yet still look noble. Exactly this look is continued, among other things, in the radiator shrouds. The Sportster S has with the Revolution Max a liquid-cooled engine, whose radiator fits with our covers visually outstanding in the bike. Our covers have a particularly classy appearance due to the first-time use of cross grooves. Under the rear fender we have hidden the minimal version of a turn signal-taillight combination and moved the number plate to the side.

More freedom of choice for the seating position
With the new triple clamp, the choice of handlebars is greater. We manufacture the aluminum handlebar with an inch-long mount and thinner ends in two widths (740 mm and 805 mm). To match its diameter, we have developed new grips and footrests in the same design, which give a little more leaning freedom. With these two measures, the motorcycle can be wonderfully adapted to the respective needs of the rider.

Design and dimensions of the original wheels fit well into our Sportster-S concept, so we limited ourselves to coating in a rich gold tone, which is also found in the sporty paint design (Ingo Kruse) on the tank, spoiler and the two fenders. This provides an appropriate framework to beautifully present the modern engine including the orig. exhaust system.

Here are our brand new parts that we have developed especially for this new model series! Some of these parts also fit the Nightster, as well as the Pan America 1250 and Pan America 1250 Special.

Riding Experience

Attention: high addiction potential!

The power-packed attitude paired with the sporty 1250 T engine is made for people who expect a real cool riding experience from their motorcycle.

Once you’ve experienced that fat boost out of the basement, you want to feel it again and again. With 122 hp (90 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 125 Nm at 3,500 rpm, the round about 220 kilos are pushed forward by the high-torque engine and kept securely on track by a 1-A chassis. This is ensured by the low center of gravity, the upside-down fork and the monoshock, among other things. The tires seem huge, but are easy to handle thanks to the tapered tire shape. In addition, the brakes are well controllable and decelerate very decently, as one is used to from Brembo.

In short, this bike is fun from front to back. Don’t say later that we didn’t warn you about the addictive potential….
