A big wheel for a big machine!

The largest engine which Harley-Davidson currently supplies (117 cui / 1920 cc) and a high-quality premium paint finish in Smokey Grey & Black Hole – these are probably the most obvious arguments for this CVO Street Glide. As usual with the exclusive series, which is produced in small numbers, everything you could wish for is built in. Really everything? We thought it was a good idea to give the CVO a larger front wheel.

To use the 26 inch wheel from our Daytona series instead of the original 19 inch wheel, we use our triple clamp kit with 40° rake and the 340mm floating discs from our Vegas series.

The one-piece custom wheel is powder coated in black to match the premium paint scheme of the CVO, our GFK front fender has been repainted and the triple clamp kit is made from one block of black anodized billet aluminum. The wheelbase is extended by 150 mm and the caster is 175 mm.

The new tire is a correspondingly large Metzeler ME888 Ultra, which is specially made for big tourers and long distances. The brute power delivery of the big Milwaukee Eight of 105 HP (166 Nm at 3500 rpm) ensures a fast rolling.

And, of course, this price class also offers full power for the ears and eyes: The Boom! Box GTS with full color TFT delivers 75 watts from 4 boxes.

With the tight and comfortable high performance suspension at front and rear you can even be quite sporty on the road. Sporty? A few days ago, you could see how this fits together at the “King of Baggers” of “MotoAmerica” in Laguna Seca, where traditionally the start is made with side cases and the standard fairing. When a professional rider rides, there are much more extreme lean angles than the 31 or 32° possible here. But honestly, it has to be said that the suitcases for the race are raised a bit.
