Thunderbike premieres at the Custombike Show 2017
On the first weekend of December, the Custombike Show 2017, now the world’s largest trade fair for converted motorcycles, started in the exhibition center in Bad Salzuflen. Of course, we were also involved and used the show to present our Softail Project 2018, 14 custom bikes based on the brand new 2018 Softail generation.
You could also experience the trade fair news live in Hamminkeln next Saturday at the Grand Nicholas Open House. Those looking for the perfect Christmas gift on Saturday had the option to purchase our limited edition Grand Nicholas Kit (Thunderbike Thunderbike 2018 Throwbag, Best Thunderbike Movies 2017 DVD, New Custom Cap, TB Keychain, TB Lanyard and a set of TB Sticker) for a special price of 20.- € per kit.

Shortly after the start of the great motorcycle adventure, daring contemporaries freed their machines of all unnecessary ballast to compete with them in the tough competition: risking their lives on the daring hillclimb or in search of the ultimate speedkick on the beaches of Daytona to get higher or faster than your opponents. Whether board, flat or dirt track, sprint or dragster race, the ride with the devil at Cafe Racing in London in the 50s or the high speed records on the salt lakes of Bonneville: Always intrepid men and women were looking for the limit of their machines – and their own.
The fascination of racing is unbroken in all its facets and manifests itself in the machines that will be presented in a special hall at the special exhibition of this year’s CUSTOMBIKE SHOW. Epochal race bikes and radical custom bikes that breathe the spirit of competition let visitors dive into the world of people and drivers like Burt Munro, Ernst Henne and Scott Parker.
