- Indian Treffen 2012
Not only Harley are welcome!
The Indian Motocycle Company was founded in 1901 in Springfield, Massachusetts by George Mallory Hendee and Oscar Hedstrom and was one of the first manufacturers of standard motorcycles in the United States. Mainly the factory produced motorcycles with large capacity two-cylinder V-engines with side valve control and landing gear, which allowed a comfortable, low seating position. The company filed for bankruptcy in 1953, but has been revived by Polaris Industries since 2011.
In 2012, Roadhouse Indian was full of enthusiasts and those who could even call an Indian their own. We have photographed a few of the most fully restored touring bikes for you.
