Selected Custombikes
We are among the people eagerly awaiting an Intermot after such a long break. A look at the catalog reveals about 500 exhibitors, but sadly, Harley-Davidson is missing. Our customizer heart misses also the AMD Bikeshow and the associated contest, in which we participated several times and were also crowned. Oh that’s new: The Intermot is now also to be a sales fair like the Dortmund Motorcycle Show.
Of course we are there and enjoy meeting many friends and colleagues, seeing trends and exchanging ideas. And that’s exactly what the Intermot is still suitable for!
Custom Show by Garage 21
The makers of the two print magazines “Custombike” and “Dream Machines” are – besides the magazine business – also event makers and organize a custom show here in Cologne, where we can’t miss.
We are on site with two bikes that could not be more different: Our golden 35th Anniversary Chopper, which we hand-built in large parts for Thunderbike’s anniversary, and the Unbreakable, with which we were successful at the AMD Bikeshow in 2014.
Before we leave again, we enjoy a tour of the exhibition halls. There’s life in the old dog yet again – the venerable motorcycle show in Cologne (formerly known as IFMA, founded in 1951) would deserve the fulfillment of this saying.
