Take the long way home

South France, Liechtenstein, Switzerland… why rush home when you can meet friends and have a good time along the way? On the way back from the Côte d’Azur we visited Reini in his Bobber Garage and the headquarters of the Rokker Company.

Following to Reini’s motto, we rode the old-style boxes over the small mountain roads and also took a look at Reini’s bobber garage in Principality of Liechtenstein. Here, a few unique pieces are created every year, such as his award-winning Monarch series in Wishbone look with single-sided swingarm and springer fork.

For a few years now, Rokker jeans have been on everyone’s lips – or rather, on everyone’s butt. The development of the Swiss company “The Rokker Company” heralded the end of shapeless safety clothing. Of course, you can still sit on your bike in jeans-like pants from discount stores, where the yellow coloring of the safety material comes through over time. Looks then just not so chic.

But more and more people wanted to be dressed as stylishly on the bike as they are otherwise on the road. The founders of Rokker recognized the spirit of the times – shirts with cool motifs, sophisticated jackets, chic footwear and some fine accessories followed. In some circles, people have gone completely rokker, showing style as well as safety awareness. Because now there’s “Rokkertech” and other specially designed Rokker materials to protect and keep you warm on the bike.
