Super Bowl 54 meets Thunderbike Roadhouse
Together with the TSV Bocholt Rhinos we have already organized the third SuperBowl event this year. The kitchen crew of the Thunderbike Roadhouse has once again managed to get even the toughest guys fed with a great Game Day Buffet.
In the well-filled roadhouse, the colourful fans of the world’s hottest sport could first watch how the San Francisco 49ers, as narrow favourites, brought the first points on the board with a field goal. The Chiefs countered just a few minutes later with the first touchdown of the game (Pat Mahomes: “I still run the first touchdown of a SuperBowl myself!”?) and later added a field goal. After the 49ers have answered with a touchdown, but then towards the end of the second quarter with questionable “time management”, the game went into the half-time break at a score of 10:10.
In the Halftime Show Shakira and J-Lo together delivered the probably hottest SuperBowl performance in years – HIPS DON’T LIE!!
After the break it was hard for the 49ers and finally they were ten points behind. Now Mahomes unpacked his whole class and did what he already showed in the playoffs – he started a crazy race to catch up! Eventually, the 49ers’ offense couldn’t stand the pressure of the Chiefs’ defense, and so in the 54th edition of the SuperBowl, the Kansas City Chiefs brought the Vince Lombardi Trophy home to Missouri for the second time in NFL history (and not to Kansas, as Donald Trump tweeted after the game ended).50 years the Chiefs had to wait for their second SuperBowl title. Head coach Andy Reid and his team made the Chiefs’ dream come true and, as the most successful coach, finally won his first Super Bowl.
Pat Mahomes can now call himself the youngest SuperBowl MVP after he was crowned the youngest MVP of the NFL last year.
