Harnessing a faithful companion

We re-saddle a faithful companion and do it good. Anyone who gets on a 114 after riding a 117 will realise that the 114, with its 95 lively little horses, is still no lame horse. So our customer still has his 114 Breakout. And so, after a few years, he wanted to do it some good and re-saddle it.

New 260 tire

It’s not just the new saddle from our Steel line that harmonises so beautifully with the Steel fender. With no struts, a single piece and integrated LED indicators, we have adapted the fender to the dimensions of the new 260 rubber. The side license plate and a clean inside plate reveal the fresh black cells.

The steel fenderis matched to the 260 tyre. The Solo saddle is also part of the range.

For the fork, we have introduced a DLC coating: Diamond like Carbon – probably the highest quality fork coating on the market, it makes the chrome of the stanchion tube disappear. The headlamp cap gives the Dark Horse its character, the torque handlebar keep it in check, the satin-finish grips feel better than any reins and the striped indicators are almost invisible. Little goodies like clutch and ignition covers from our Drilled range in two-tone finish the look.

The front wheel – inherently strikingly beautiful, further enhanced by the DLC-coated fork tubes. A complete impression that captivates.

We give the Breakout a new look with our headlight cap and torque handlebar.

A 260 tyre is quickly fitted. Combined with our side licence plate holder, the result is a completely new rear view.

We spurring the dark horse

The old Breakout has become a lively stallion again. After careful grooming with the only paint that always works, he now goes by the name of “Dark Horse”. At least when we have the Jekill & Hyde on silent.

Before the first ride in the new saddle, there is one small button to press. We haven’t just lowered the front fork. The Dark Horse has also been fitted with an Airride from our company. So the Dark Horse sinks down like a well-trained stallion before we give it the spurs.
