Roaring Fiftys Oldschool Bobber
At first glance, you might think that Uncle Pan is coming around the corner here. This current Softail Slim does indeed look similar to our restored Panhead, which belongs to Andreas Bergerforth’s personal collection and is in our showroom. But of course this Slim is powered by the 107cui Milwaukee-Eight engine and has all the other achievements of a modern Softail.
As a perfect bobber base, the Slim gets a classic equipment from us: swinging rear fender with swinging saddle, lowering, wider rear wheel, wider handlebars, forward-mounted footrest system.
In addition, there are nice details, such as grips and pegs, small turn signals, covers, which round off the outfit. So shape and line are already going in the right direction and the resemblance to the post-war models is perfected here by the whitewall tires and the two-tone paint.
For the rich burgundy red with the cream white gives this conversion the kick in the direction of Roaring Fiftys. The acoustic confirmation resounds from the shortened Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde exhaust system.
You like this style? The swinging rear fender with the beautiful perforated struts we make especially for each conversion by hand and paint it to match the bike. Our sales consultants will be happy to explain this work to you and also discuss with you the possibilities that exist for your bike.
