Ready to Rumble?
When Andreas and the Rumbler crew call for the annual Rumble & Thunder, it’s almost natural that the sun shines on this day as well. From 10.00 a.m. onwards, almost 15 exhibitors presented their arts on the show grounds, where visitors naturally presented their favourite custom treasures in the form of old school cars and hot rods or as custom bikes.
Also our production was open for all visitors and offered an insight behind the scenes of the custom workshop as well as the production. If you are already attending an American-inspired meeting, you would of course like to spoil your palate with American food. You could do that again this year at our Roadhouse barbecue counter, where we had the finest grilled meat and burgers on hand. Our meeting would only be half as interesting if our exhibitors weren’t there! This year you could again look forward to familiar faces of the scene. At the end of this gallery you’ll find all artists at a glance.
Impressions by Rollin' Pictures
Impressions by Dirk "The Pixeleye" Behlau
Because of too full order books Jacco had to cancel his participation for last year. Nothing has changed in the Dutch artist’s order situation, but it was still his personal wish to be with us again. Said – done. We are more than happy that Royal Kustom Works was in our small artist mile!
Since a few years we mixed the two tattoo artists Hang Loose Tattoo and Normans Tattoo & Art Gallery with the exhibitors.
After one year of creative break the guys from the Flake Kings confirmed their participation this year. We are very happy about that, because the Dutch were not idle, of course, but produced a lot of new clothes.
After a successful premiere of the Alte Schule Manufaktur last year, the artists’ collective is back to visit us and presented you their very limited products. All prints are Fairtrade and eco-friendly – the colours are 100% vegan!
At Uzey Pinstriping, who is already an old-established member of our event, you will find the finest kind of pinstriping: The artist from Hamm will show us his works again this year.
Marc Siekmann is the head behind Murder Murals. Murder Murals offers finest Airbrush and Custom Paint works. Some of you probably already knew Marc from last year.
Also for the first time there were Formwechsel from Gelsenkirchen. Maik works on old roll boards and breathes new life into them, turning old skateboards into key rings, earrings or cooking spoons.
For more than 15 years Michael Syrers alias KRAZY TIKI ART has been continuously carving various tikis from our local woods.
In 2019 they were guests for the first time! The boys of KlassikKustoms from Herdecke are mainly specialized in motorcycle conversions based on small Japanese motorcycles up to 750 ccm and the manufacture of parts for all makes.
You found Shamrock’s Vintage Cycles this year at the booth of Stefan Knaup Haarschneider!
You didn’t manage to get your beard fixed in time for our Rumble & Thunder event? Stefan Knaup took care of you and your hairstyles on this day.
Also the Ruhr Rod Company from Bottrop was to be found with us on the place.
Chris Rupaner alias Chiko’s Pinstriping almost belongs to our inventory. This year he was again with Live Painting at our Rumble & Thunder event.
Heike Drübert from Rad Rocks presented her latest jewellery artworks!
