Rumble & Thunder 12. August 2023

Even though it looked really shitty on Saturday morning, we all had wet feet because the puddles on our car park were getting bigger and bigger and the artists couldn’t set up anything except their tents. The ninth Rumble and Thunder was nice.

Nice that you were all there! Despite the bad weather forecast, 17 exhibitors packed up their treasures and made their way to us.
Spread all over the place, everything revolved around choppers and oldschool cult. Handmade and unique is of course at the top of the list for this theme.

Pinstripers, engravers and tattoo artists presented their work and completed it live. Of course, there were also special custom parts, cool fashion and biker wear, and if you needed a rocking haircut or a fresh beard, there was an artist for that too.

Chiko has pimped our modified Low Rider S with cool flames.

Eric from Handcraft Choppers comes from Bavaria and was there for the first time.

Carin from Love Buzz did traditional chainstiching on 100-year-old machines.

Jan Meininghaus brought along limited edition silkscreen prints on handmade paper from the event’s poster.

According to the motto “we’re not made of sugar” or the weather report that says it will be dry from 12:00 onwards, some bikers got on their choppers and livened up the event.
Of course, cool Amish bikes also dared to take to the streets and in the end they were rewarded.

The sky got brighter by the hour, the socks drier and the mood better and better.
