It’s been a while, since our Unbreakable won the 1st place in the “Champion Class” at the European Bike Week in Faak. Until today this bike has lost nothing of its fascination. On the contrary – some of the parts, which were made especially for this custombike, found their way into our catalogue and thus to many other bikes, such as our Monoblock wheel.

When Frank Sander asked us for an exhibition of exclusive custom bikes at Motorworld Cologne, we chose the Unbreakable from all our treasures, which are standing in our showroom. As European champion, it fits perfectly between the other high-quality vehicles that have found their place in the Motorworld.

On about 50,000 square meters of space, young- and oldtimers, luxury cars and the exhibition “Michael Schumacher Private Collection”, which comprises hundreds of pieces, make this place a worthwhile destination for petrolheads.

Friends of special vehicles on two and on four wheels should get their money’s worth here. There are specialized workshops, high-quality accessory shops and gastronomic offers. And if you want to store your own treasure of steel here, you can rent one of the exclusive glass boxes.

So this special exhibition will show a handful of exclusive custom bikes from German custombike builders and private persons. And our bike stands right in the middle!

Flat, long, slim: Our Unbreakable immediately catches the eye with its sporty lines. We have designed some of the parts ourselves and combined them with already existing parts from our own company and also from Harley-Davidson.

The trapeze fork is our own development, which we have made as compact as possible in the steering head area. Like a telescopic fork, the spars lie directly on the steering head and form an optical unit with the bike.

A whole series of parts – such as wheels, fuel tank cap, triple clamp, seat, indicators, etc. – were anodized and then clamped once again in the milling machine and meticulously milled to emphasize their design.

Ralf Pichel from Pichel Bikes in Bremen contributed a 1995 Evo in a Shovel-Look, whose triple clamp was stretched by 9 degrees. With the cylinder head covers from DMD and the artificial patina, you could think you are looking at an old motorcycle.

The spray gun operator Danny Schneider from near Hamburg arrived with his extremely modified Kreidler and another custombike, which was already celebrated at the annual big Bikeshow in Dubai.

Sven Naber from NH-Power shows that it doesn’t always have to be a Harley to build a custombike. Here he presents a Cafe Racer, based on an Indian Chief to the public for the first time.

Christoph Madaus contributes a technically particularly interesting bike: On his “Twintrax Power Plus”, the Cologne designer has squeezed two Evo engines one behind the other into a self-designed chassis. Like all his own designs, this somewhat futuristic-looking bike is extremely meticulous and has been built to the highest standards of design, workmanship and materials.

Michael Naumann from Schermbeck showed his also award-winning “Simple Iron”, which is anything but a simple iron, but an extremely clean built and technically advanced bike.

So our Unbreakable is in pretty good company!

If you want to see it for yourself, you should go to the Butzweiler Hof in Cologne until August 31st. The entrance is free of charge.
