The Replicant

We were already aware that our 2019 BotK finalist bike “Roar” has many fans and supporters worldwide. However, the love for our FXDR conversion goes so far that we receive a customer order for the replica of the bike does not happen every day. Of course it has filled us with pride to build the bike again. But the customer wanted a small change, the paint should be shiny this time and not matt as before. The customer’s wish is our command and so we consulted with old master painter Ingo Kruse who promptly presented us a nice paint concept in the same colour as the “Roar“.

On the “Roar” the rear suspension was lowered manually by a full 50 mm, on the ONE17 the height is controlled by an Air Ride suspension. On both we put a fat 260mm tire on the original rim. The Screamin’ Eagle Stage 3 Kit brings extra power, increasing the engine volume to a potent 117 cubic inches and increasing the engine power by almost 40%. Our GP-style rear end with integrated lighting and a matching seat perfectly frames the powerful rear wheel. A side license plate holder with Thunderbike Inside Plate as well as a new front fender and front spoiler were installed just like on the example.

A clearer comparison between a matte and a glossy painted bike is rarely as clear and beautiful as in this case.
