[Weil die Nightster] in Sachen Sportlichkeit die Vorgänger doch deutlich in den Schatten stellte, wie wir uns bei der ersten Testfahrt auf den kurvigen Straßen rund um Girona überzeugen konnten.

[Mit dem Motor] lässt es sich entspannt schaltarm cruisen, um seine Power jedoch auszukosten, will er in der Praxis doch über 4000 Touren gedreht werden – dann lässt er die Nightster noch einmal so richtig lospreschen. Mit einem eingetragenen Standgeräusch von 90 Db übrigens auch auf allen Straßen im Tiroler Außerfern…

Der Road-Modus eignet sich fürs entspanntes Cruisen bzw. den täglichen Einsatz, bietet eine homogene Leistungsentfaltung sowie ein moderates Eingreifen von ABS und Traktionskontrolle. Ganz anders der Sportmodus, der das volle Potential des Revolution Max auf die Straße bringt, die direkteste Gasannahme bietet und Traktionskontrolle sowie ABS erst spät eingreifen lässt. Einzig im Rain-Modus ist die Leistung um etwa 15 Prozent reduziert, die Gasannahme extrem sanft, die Traktionskontrolle beim geringsten Anzeichen eines “Rutschers” präsent – damit sollte man wirklich sicher durch jeden Regen kommen.
